Teacher Dara K. Fulton is a certified ESL instructor and author of 10 adult ESL workbooks on life skills, job readiness, and visual language.
I live in New York City, the United States, and I have 21 years' experience teaching English to adult learners. I also have experience in job readiness coaching and ESL teacher training. I'm an author to 10 books: 8 ESL books including an International Signs Resource Book (a collaboration with teachers and students), a motivational journal called Coffee with You, and my memoir (personal story) called Life's Reflective Twists. All of my books are published on Amazon and distributed from IngramSpark.
I have a Bachelor's degree in English, two Associates degrees, and TESOL and TEFL certifications. I LOVE being a teacher, because I love helping people learn English. I also love helping ESL teachers feel encouraged and supported in the ESL profession. Advocating for adult education is a passion of mine.

Applied ESL, LLC is a Limited Liability Corporation and is registered by the state of New York, the United States. Applied ESL was formally known as Dara's ESL which started in 2018. The name Applied ESL and its business officially became a LLC in February 2019. Dara K. Fulton is the sole owner and teacher of Applied ESL, and is both New York City and State certified Minority, Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) in New York City, NY.
